FAQ

Q: What is BlazyPix?
A: BlazyPix is a fashion, style, and beauty blog run by me, Olga Grebenuk. It’s a place where I share my personal take on fashion trends, outfit ideas, beauty tips, product reviews, and lifestyle inspiration. Think of it as chatting with a friend about what’s new in your closet or makeup bag – casual, fun, and honest.

Q: Why is it called “BlazyPix”?
A: Great question! BlazyPix is a playful name I came up with to reflect the vibe of the blog. “Blazy” hints at boldness or a fiery passion (like blazing a trail in style), and “Pix” hints at pictures or snapshots. Together, BlazyPix evokes the idea of vibrant images and a spark of creativity. Plus, I just liked the way it sounds – unique and a little edgy, like the content I hope to create. (And yes, I also love taking lots of pics for the blog!)

Q: Who is behind BlazyPix?
A: It’s just me – Olga! I’m a one-woman team juggling the writing, photography, web design, and social media for the blog. I don’t have a professional background in fashion or beauty; I’m simply an enthusiast. By day I [optional fun detail like: work a regular 9-5 or study XYZ], and by night I’m a blogger chasing my passions. You can read more on the About the Author page where I share my story.

Q: Are you a professional stylist or makeup artist?
A: Nope! I am not a certified professional – just a self-taught lover of all things style and beauty. What I know comes from personal experience, endless curiosity, and perhaps one too many hours on YouTube and fashion magazines. I share tips that have worked for me and products I’ve tried. For any serious matters (like skincare for specific conditions, health issues, etc.), I always recommend consulting a professional. I’m here to inspire and give friendly advice, not professional counsel.

Q: What topics do you cover on the blog?
A: A bit of everything under the fashion/style/beauty umbrella! You’ll find:

  • Fashion posts – outfit-of-the-day looks, trend roundups, seasonal style guides, how to wear a tricky piece, etc.

  • Beauty content – makeup reviews, skincare routines, haircare tips, and occasional DIY beauty recipes.

  • Product Reviews – my honest take on products I’m currently using, from drugstore finds to splurge-worthy items.

  • Tips & Guides – like how to organize your closet, packing for trips, budget shopping tips, or confidence-boosting style hacks.

  • Lifestyle bits – sometimes I sprinkle in related topics like decor, wellness, or behind-the-scenes blogger life.
If there’s something you’re itching to see that I haven’t covered, let me know! I love getting new ideas from readers.

Q: How often do you post new content?
A: I aim to post regularly, about [insert frequency, e.g., “once a week” or “2-3 times a week”]. Sometimes life gets busy, so it might vary, but consistency is a goal of mine. I recommend subscribing to updates or following BlazyPix on social media so you don’t miss new posts. (In the future, I might start a newsletter – stay tuned!)

Q: How can I stay updated on new posts?
A: You can follow me on [list social media if exists: e.g., Instagram, Pinterest] where I announce new posts and share extra content. If you prefer email, I’m planning to introduce a newsletter option – when it’s ready, you’ll see a signup on the site. Of course, you can always bookmark BlazyPix.com and check back every so often. I try to make each visit worth your while with fresh content!

Q: Do you accept sponsored content or free products?
A: Yes, but selectively. I do sometimes work with brands for sponsored posts or receive PR samples (free products) to test. However, I only collaborate with brands that fit the ethos of BlazyPix and that I think you – my readers – would be interested in. Every sponsored post is clearly disclosed at the top of the article, and if something was gifted, I mention it. My promise is to remain honest – free or paid, it doesn’t change my true opinion. If a product isn’t great, I’ll say so, or I might choose not to feature it at all. For details, check out my Disclosure Policy which explains how I handle these situations.

Q: How do I know if a link or post is sponsored or an affiliate?
A: Transparency is key for me. You will know. Sponsored posts will say “Sponsored” (or similar wording) very visibly. Affiliate links are often noted with a phrase like “(affiliate)” right next to the link or a blanket note at the start of the post. I follow FTC rules to make these disclosures clear. If you ever find something unclear, please tell me so I can fix it – I want you to feel confident in the content you read here.

Q: What’s with the ads on the site?
A: Those are Google AdSense ads, which help me earn a bit of revenue to maintain the blog. They might appear in the sidebar, header, or within posts. I don’t personally select each ad (they’re generated by Google), and I don’t necessarily endorse whatever is shown. (You might see ads based on your browsing, like I often get coffee or shoe ads – it’s different for everyone.) If you’re not into seeing ads, you can use an ad-blocker, though I do appreciate when people allow the ads since it’s a primary way the blog is supported. I try to ensure ad placements aren’t too intrusive. If you ever encounter an inappropriate ad, let me know and I can block it from appearing again.

Q: Can I use your photos or content on my site or social media?
A: First off, I’m flattered you want to share my content! All text and images on BlazyPix (unless otherwise noted) are created by me and are under copyright. You may share a single image as long as you clearly credit BlazyPix.com and provide a link back to the original post. For example, if you love an outfit photo and want to post it on Pinterest or Instagram, that’s fine with proper credit (tag me or caption credit). However, please do not republish full articles or multiple photos without my explicit permission. And please do not remove watermarks if an image has one. If you’re a fellow blogger or publication and want to feature something from BlazyPix, shoot me an email at contact@blazypix.com – I’m usually happy to collaborate or grant permission for fair use. Unauthorized use of content is not cool (and may result in a DMCA takedown). Let’s play fair and support each other’s creative work!

Q: I have a question that’s not answered here – how can I contact you?
A: I’d love to hear from you! For any questions, feedback, or just to say hi, you can email me at hello@blazypix.com. I try my best to respond in a timely manner (within a few days). You can also reach out via [social media DMs if relevant]. Additionally, if you have business inquiries or collaboration proposals, you can check out the Collaboration page for more info and contact details (I have a separate email for business inquiries: contact@blazypix.com). No matter your question, I’ll do my best to help!

Q: Do you accept guest posts or contributions?
A: BlazyPix is currently a personal blog with content created just by me, so I’m not accepting guest posts at this time. I take pride in maintaining the voice and style of the blog. That said, I’m not against the idea of collaborating in other ways – for example, interviewing fellow fashion lovers or featuring quotes/tips from others in a roundup. If you have a cool collab idea, feel free to pitch it via email! But as far as unsolicited guest articles or paid link insertions, kindly note I’m not interested.

Q: Can I request a topic or ask for style advice?
A: Absolutely! Some of my best post ideas come from readers’ questions. If there’s a trend you want me to explore, a “how to wear” question, or a product you’re curious about, let me know. You can email me or leave a comment on the blog or social media. I can’t guarantee I’ll cover everything, but I genuinely consider and appreciate suggestions. BlazyPix is a community, and I want to write about things you find interesting or helpful.

I hope this FAQ helps, but if you’re scratching your head about something else, reach out anytime. Thanks for your interest and for being part of the BlazyPix journey! 💕
